Homework Challenge Week 5

Our homework challenge this week was to use our spelling words to create a story. Here are some of our stories that we have written.

Fireworks

It was the beginning of Guy Fawkes Night. Everyone was excited about what was happening and the children’s voices were babbling excitedly in the crowd. Everyone was silent, waiting for what was about to occur.

Suddenly, a loud boom! A firework explodes in the air.  Everyone looks up.  Pieces of the fireworks glistens in the sky.  A fountain of fireworks fall to the ground.

Usually it would have been longer but they said through the speakers that it was going to rain so that was all they could offer. Even though it ended early it would be a night that the children would remember.

Christmas Day

Two children wake up. They have a lovely breakfast and then they go into the living room to open their presents. Later their mother tells them excitedly that there is something occurring in the park tonight. The children say, “We prefer to stay and play with our presents right now.” Mum replies, "I think it will be regretful if you do not go, it is fireworks!" "Yippee, oh yeah!" shouted the children. The dog started barking and wagged its tail. "Let’s target to be there at 6pm." said Mum. After tea, they got ready and go to the park. Soon the fireworks start banging all over the dark sky. They look like a colourful fountain.

There once was an ugly, deceitful, resentful prince. He was resentful because everyone loved the beautiful, delightful princess who lived a beautifully decorated castle while the prince lived in a rusty old garden shed. She was thoughtful and peaceful and the people in her village lived peacefully and gratefully gave offerings to their princess.  The prince wanted to be like the princess so he had his hair cut and bought some beautiful new clothes and had a shave.  Because he was now handsome, the princess thought he was delightful.  They got married and lived happily ever after in the beautifully decorated castle.

An EPIC day at the park

It was a nice, peaceful, sunny day when several families went to the park. My family and I went as well. The scenery was very beautiful as everybody laughed happily.
We had a barbeque and had sausages, meringues, croissants and lots more. It was delicious. There was a big surprise waiting for us. A long limousine parked right beside the park! Then, a very, very famous movie star came over to my direction, I asked for her autograph and she said yes. She was very elegant. The movie star's name was Rebecca Gilton, she was dressed very beautifully and was wearing a red dress. It was a wonderful, delightful day.
